Upcoming things I'm excited about.

April 19 - Mortal Kombat 9 comes out: This game is going to be insanely awesome. The demo alone is great, and they’ve made changes/fixes since that version. The characters look great, the fighting looks great, the fatalities are awesome as always, the ladder is badass, the x-ray specials are cool as shit. Everything about the game just screams amazing.

April 22 - Nevermore/Symphony X concert: I’ve seen Nevermore more 3 times already and Symphony X twice. That doesn’t matter to me. Nevermore is damn amazing and I’d see them every chance I possibly could. They’re my favorite band and every time I see them live, they make me love them more and more. They sound better live than they do on album. I like Symphony X and all, but obviously they’re not what I’m mostly excited for. =)

May 6 - Thor in theaters: A lot of people are saying that this movie looks like it’s going to suck. Well, I obviously disagree. Yes, Marvel has made a few shitty movies, but as of lately, they’ve been amazing! I truly think this will be badass. Thor already happened to be one of my favorite Marvel characters, probably for all the wrong reasons lol. I love him because I love Mythology, although the Marvel character doesn’t have much to do with the myth character. That’s what people don’t seem to understand. Marvel took the concept of Thor (Odin and Loki included) from Norse Myth and changed it up. This movie is supposed to follow the comic, not the myth. Besides, everyone should always remember there will never be a comic book movie to follow the comic in every aspect. There will always be differences, and people should be able to look at them as a whole different thing instead of dwelling over the differences. Stop complaining and enjoy it! Oh yeah, I was worried about Chris Hemsworth because I had no idea who he was, but now he seems perfect for the part. =)

June 3 - X-Men: First Class in theaters: I actually just saw the trailer for this for the first time this morning. Don’t get me wrong, it looks really good but I’m kind of sick of the X-Men movies. 3 out of 4 of them weren’t all that great with Wolverine being the only one that was good to me. When I first saw the others I liked them, but watching them again recently, I wasn’t too fond. I still like the first one, but Wolverine was still better. Regardless of the negative feelings about this movie, I’m still excited to see how it will turn out. I guess because it’s a prequel I should expect something different since it’s supposed to be. It’s supposed to be before Professor X and Magneto were them, when they were Xavier and Erik. So, I’m looking forward to seeing the turn out.

June 17 - Green Lantern in theaters: I’m not a DC fan. As a matter of fact, I hate DC comics. I’m a HUGE Marvel fan and I know many will disagree with me on that, but that’s why it is MY OPINION. Regardless of my hatred for DC, I’ve still always liked Green Lantern. I think Ryan Reynolds (regardless of his previous character for Marvel as Deadpool) is a good choice to play Hal Jordan. I think I might actually be most excited for the movie because of Ryan. I think he’s a really good actor and can pull this off well (and he’s attractive haha). The movie looks really good. I only know the basics of the main DC characters unlike with Marvel how I know a whole crap ton (obviously because I favor them). I guess I just overall enjoy watching comic book movies regardless if it’s DC or Marvel, just to see how it turned out.

July 22 - Captain America: The First Avenger in theaters: Everybody seems as excited as I am for Captain America. As I’ve mentioned previously being a huge Marvel fan, I love most of their character, Captain America being one of them. I think Chris Evans fits the role well (plus I think he’s hot! haha). Just because he played a previous Marvel character (The Human Torch/Johnny Storm from Fantastic Four) doesn’t mean it should be a big deal for him to play another. That’s one thing people seem to be complaining about. They’re not based off of real people! There’s no reason why it should matter that one man plays two Marvel heroes. The only way it should matter is if they’re supposed to run into each other later on, and they could still change the actor. Big friggen whoop. It’s the story of how Steve Rogers becomes Captain America, and it looks damn awesome! I am definitely looking forward to this.

I talk a lot. Lol
